Real voices. Shared truths. Collective strength.

The Voice Project is a growing archive of lived experiences—told by those navigating life in a world that often misunderstands them.

If you are neurodivergent—this is your space.
A space for the words that go unsaid.
For the truths that deserve daylight.
For the power of saying, “This happened to me—and it matters.”

If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or underestimated… you belong here.

A Note From Dr. Theresa Haskins

Institute of Neurodiversity ION US President and Chair

At ION US, we created The Voice Project because I know what it feels like to be misunderstood, underestimated, and told you don’t belong.

I’ve spent my life navigating those spaces—as a parent, a professional, and a neurodistinct leader.

This project isn’t about collecting stories. It’s about honoring them.
Too many of you are asked to speak up—to leaders, at school board meetings—and given just two minutes. If that.
This is different. This is your space. Our space.

If you’re wondering what led me here and why, I shared part of that journey in my TEDx Talk: The Neuro-Inclusion Revolution.

Wherever you are in your story—you’re not alone. We are here with you.
